Horn Africa Human Rights Network is a community-based human rights organization that provides a full range of community and immigration services to African Immigrants and works to ensure that new African immigrants can build social, political and economic power in their communities.
Our programs ranges from immigration services to community advocacy to promoting human rights. The Network operates exclusively for educational and advocacy purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code of the United States of America.
Horn Africa Human Rights Network has the following major programs; providing Legal Representation for African Immigrants detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in local and state jails, Community Advocacy, Job Placement and Housing Assistance, Offers Immigration Services and Legal representation for African Immigrants in Immigration Courts in the United States.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations which fall under the 501(c) (3) section of the internal revenue code and are operated exclusively for educational and advocacy purposes.
At times, per the discretion of the board of directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities, which will provide opportunities for involvement in order to have a greater impact for change in our effort in the human rights movement. Horn Africa Human Rights Network Utilizes Social Media Channels And The Organization’s Website To Provide Facts, Statistics, And Other Related Data On Abuses, Causes, Current Advocacy Efforts And Solutions To Avoid Further Human Rights Violation In The Region.
Our target groups are refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and detained immigrants who are originated from the African particularly; Eritreans, Somalians, South Sudanese and Ethiopians who resides in the United States.
